Click here to enter the sessionCastle Rock Research will provide an overview of the SOLARO program and how it can be used effectively in the classroom to improve student learning and achievement. We will begin with simple administrative functions like setting up classes in SOLARO, adding and deleting students, resetting passwords, and accessing pre-and post-tests. For teachers who may be unfamiliar with SOLARO, we will show how the lesson content is arranged and guide teachers in adding their own materials using the Media Library. We will walk through the entire process of formative assessment by highlighting the steps in creating/activating assignments and viewing/interpreting reports. Part of the presentation will also focus on the student interface along with the study tools and ready-made assessments that are available for use within the classroom and as students work independently.
